Privacy Policy

This statement discloses the privacy practices for the NetLeaseX web site. Please refer to the User Agreement for definitions of capitalized terms that are not defined below. It is our intention to notify you of the following information:

The personally identifiable information collected and which organization is collecting the information;

How the information is used and with whom the information may be shared;

Choices available to you regarding collection, use and distribution of the information ;

1. NetLeaseX’s Privacy Statement. NetLeaseX values your privacy, feedback and candor. Any user information we collect is considered private, and we do not use or share such information without the user’s permission, except as permitted herein. We use this personal information at NetLeaseX to provide the best quality service possible. The following policy statement summarizes NetLeaseX’s protection and use of any personal information provided by visitors to the NetLeaseX site.

2. Information Collected by NetLeaseX. NetLeaseX may track the IP address of a user’s computer or place a “cookie” in the browser files of a user’s computer. This may be used by NetLeaseX services to provide automated features and for other purposes.

3. Use of Information Collected. Collected information helps NetLeaseX better understand its site users’ needs in order to improve its service offerings. E-mail addresses are used to communicate with site users and for site administration purposes. Users may be deleted from e-mail lists at their request. Personal information may be used to contact site users for the purpose of research, product development, marketing, or customer service, if the user has opted to receive such communication. User search activity is collected and analyzed and may be utilized by NetLeaseX in the aggregate or in the abstract for a variety of business purposes. IP address, session IDs and cookie log data are analyzed to better understand traffic flows and user preferences.

4. Shared Information.NetLeaseX does not sell, rent or lease user information to any third party, except as disclosed here. Though NetLeaseX makes every effort to preserve user privacy, we may need to disclose personal information when required by law wherein we have good faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a current judicial proceeding, a court order or legal process served on our web site.

Unless this Privacy Policy affirmatively prohibits NetLeaseX from disclosing information provided to NetLeaseX by site users, NetLeaseX may share with others any and/or all information provided to NetLeaseX by site users to the extent that NetLeaseX deems such disclosure appropriate for the purpose of providing related services in which we believe our site users may be interested. NetLeaseX may use third party providers to perform e-mail and postal mailings on behalf of NetLeaseX, but this information (such as name, address and e-mail) is confidential and is not used by the provider for any other purpose.

From time to time, NetLeaseX may obtain information (such as electronic mail addresses) from third party providers. It is our goal to only contact individuals who we believe may have a legitimate business interest in NetLeaseX based on their membership or participation in other organizations or web sites, and who have indicated a willingness to be contacted for this purpose. While NetLeaseX endeavors to work with other sites and companies with a similar respect for user privacy, NetLeaseX cannot be responsible for the privacy practices of other sites.

Please be aware that in the event NetLeaseX merges with a third party, or in the event all or substantially all of NetLeaseX’s assets are acquired by a third party, customer information, including personally identifiable information, will be shared and/or transferred to such third party. The information may only be used or shared by such third parties for the primary purpose for which the information was originally collected. If such third parties, or if NetLeaseX for its own business needs, desire to use the personally identifiable information for another purpose, you will be notified prior to the information being used for a new purpose, and you will have the opportunity to opt out of such new use of your personally identifiable information.

5. Security of Personal Information. NetLeaseX’s site users and their personal information are considered to be NetLeaseX’s greatest asset, and, thus, NetLeaseX strives to respect site users’ privacy. NetLeaseX takes every reasonable precaution to secure personal information within both its computers and its physical premises.

6. E-Mail as a Primary Communication Channel; Opting-Out of E-Mail Communications. As a registered user, you hereby acknowledge and grant NetLeaseX the permission to communicate with you via e-mail (as well as other communication channel such as phone and fax) for any purposes NetLeaseX determines to be relevant including, but not limited to, product updates and other marketing messages. NetLeaseX will use best efforts to honor customers request to opt out of marketing messages, but under no circumstances will NetLeaseX have any liability for sending any e-mail to its registered site users.

7. Changes to this Privacy Statement. If NetLeaseX decides to change its privacy policy, we will post those changes to this privacy statement, and possibly other places we deem appropriate so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it.
